The SR.TFO.* series is a range of fibre optic junction boxes designed to protect optical fibre cable joints in hazardous areas. With up to 8 splices
the trays are housed in a rugged stainless steel enclosure.
The splice trays comply with DIN 47662 and Telecom standards, each tray can accommodate up to 12 fusion type splices and can be optionally
equipped with a pull relief on request.
The housings are made of thread-brushed AISI 316L stainless steel, which provides excellent stain and corrosion resistance. All
housings feature a 45° return flange sealing method that drains water away from the sealing area and prevents dirt and dust from accumulating
in the enclosure when the lid is opened.
Durable materials allow the insert box to be used in ambient temperatures ranging from -50°C to +55°C.
Fibre optic insert boxes are also available in additional enclosure materials such as GRP.
